They weren’t happy with “just” a 4x4 truck so they got a Ram 1500 TRX and transformed it into a 6x6, renaming it ‘Warlord’. Yep, you read that right, this beast has got two extra wheels. Why? The real question is: why not? The team at Apocalypse Manufacturing wanted to see if they could do it and they clearly took pride in succeeding.
The Appearance
Despite the original addition of extra wheels, the shop decided to keep the overall look of the Ram 1500 TRX intact. At a first look, it seems exactly like the standard Ram Truck you find on sale. That’s until you turn around and see the 6x6 wheels, obviously!
Overall, this truck keeps its 707 horsepower and it’s just as functional, but one thing to change besides the number of wheels is the price tag. If a classic Dodge Ram 1500 TRX costs $72,120, this insane version is over three times the cost with a staggering $250,000. Still, you can imagine that the cost of reworking and transforming this bad boy wasn’t cheap and the idea definitely stands out, so that’s what you’re paying for.
One thing is sure, you’ll have no issues Driving Off-road with this truck. If the 4 wheels didn’t do the job at first, the 6 total will definitely sort you out. What do ya all think?
